📐 The Merging Formula
SEEDS REQUIRED FORMULA
Seeds = 2(Star Level - 1)
Every star level doubles the required seeds. This is called binary progression.

🎮 How to Merge
Select a Plant
Use the Shovel tool to click and pick up a fully grown plant from your garden.
Find a Match
Look for another plant of the same type AND same star level.
Drag & Drop
Drop the selected plant onto its matching pair. They will merge automatically.
Level Up!
The merged plant becomes +1 star level with significantly higher stats!
⚠️ Important Rules
- • You can ONLY merge plants of the exact same species
- • Both plants must be the same star level
- • Mutated plants CAN be merged (mutation is preserved)
- • Plants must be fully grown before merging
💡 Pro Merging Strategies
🎯 Focus on One Plant Type
Instead of buying many different seeds, focus your gold on one plant type. This makes merging faster and more efficient. A garden full of Tomatoes merges quickly into high-star Tomatoes.
📊 Quality Over Quantity
One 5★ plant (16 seeds worth) deals 10.5x damage compared to a 1★. That's more efficient than having 16 separate 1★ plants! Always merge up as soon as possible.
🔄 Merge During Combat
Don't wait for waves to end! Keep buying seeds and merging during battles. This ensures you're always progressing and your garden stays organized.
🗂️ Keep Garden Organized
Group plants by star level in your garden. This makes finding merge pairs instant and prevents you from missing opportunities.
